This is a reminder that we will hold our "Annual Fund Raising Auction" on Tuesday. You know what that means....fun and food! So, bring your checkbook..cash is also accepted but I find that that limits what you can buy. Come early, check out the items and be ready to raise money for our Projects.
It was a fabulous auction smorgasbord! Sisters and guests came, shopped, and ate a very patriotic lunch, thanks to our hostesses: Peggy Miller, Jean Woolery, Marlene Crandell & Ruth Ann Fink.
ReplyDeleteThe Hub was buzzing with bidding activity during Peg Welte's (and Carolyn Loften's) lively auction. Our Treasurer, Nancy Bare, handled the paperwork and will have a report of the auction's financial success at our next meeting. (Check your yearbook for date, time & location.)
Best of all, was the beautiful, thoughtful, and scrumptious donations of items to sell by our sisters (and their friends). Every year is better than the year before, thanks to the love and generous spirit of our members.
Kudos to everyone who helped and, if you missed it, there's always next November. Mark your calendar now so you won't forget.
